I went to spinn aerobics this morning at 5:30am at Gold’s!! It was hard to get out of bed in the cold, but well worth it after my workout. I feel great!

I walked/jogged/sprinted 3 miles on the treadmill working at 80%-90% max heart rate most of the time
Went for 6, 10 minute brisk walks with clients 🙂
I did cardio today. I ran/walked on treadmill for 30 minutes then hit the elliptical for 15 minutes working at about 75% of my max heart rate the whole time.
I did a full body strength training set today with about 40 minutes of step aerobics on the bosu ball.
My favorite move today: Side plank with hip dip and leg raise. To perform this move get into a side plank position, bring the top leg behind you on your tip toe. Dip the hip down to the mat or floor, raise back up and kick that back leg up on the way. Come back to start and repeat 6 times on each side.
I had a client at The Villas at Bristol Heights this morning, so when I was done training her I worked out there. I ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes then did the elliptical for 45 minutes. My goal was to work at 70%- 80% of my max heart rate the whole time and I did that 🙂 I stretched and trained three more people after that. I had a very active day.
I did not have time to get in my own workout today. I trained five people (which counts for something,right?) and had a massage! It was a great day.

Frozen Yogurt from So Cool Yogurt– i had a weak moment, this is not a good choice for an everyday snack. Every once in a while won’t kill you 🙂
Dinner:
7pm
Baked boneless skinless chicken breast
stir fried kale– seasoned with honey, sesame seed oil, garlic,onion,salt and pepper
Brown rice

I’m back-a-bloggin’! I slacked off there for a while…
Today I went to the gym and ran on the treadmill. Well, I walked and ran. I played with the incline and speed every 30-45 seconds. I changed it up making sure to keep my heart rate elevated the whole time. I ran some sprints, climbed some hills, ran some hills and walked some hills. I went a total of 3 miles. Doing this makes the time go by faster for me. I do not love to use the treadmill, but at 8am it was still too cold for me outside 🙂 I cranked up my ipod and got my sweat on!

I worked out in my home gym this morning. It freakin’ rocks having a gym in my house! I took the dog for a quick warm up walk then came home and did a full body strength training set. I worked out for an hour, tackling the whole body! I did break it up with spurts of cardio, like mountain climbers, jumping jacks and some plyometrics for my legs.
I went back to Intense Intervals with Valerie Hunt at the JCC. This class is so great! A very hard workout! Come with me next week!!! Monday’s at 9am at the Dell Jewish Community Center on Far West Blvd.
