Coconut Water

I started drinking coconut water in 2004 when I began  doing Bikram yoga.  After an hour and a half of yoga in a 104 degree room I was willing to try anything to replenish my body.  I didn’t love the taste at first but I trusted the nutritional value and  after a couple of tries, my body craved it! I personally think it is a pretty amazing tonic, it has WAY more potassium than a banana and  all your essential amino acids.  Basically, it’s a all natural Gatorade!   There are a couple of different brands out there, I usually buy Zico because  HEB puts it in sale a lot 🙂
